Information We Collect

Erc20 collects several categories of information when you register, use the platform, or interact with our services. All data collection is intended to enable us to deliver a better, safer, and more relevant experience for Malaysian users.

Account Information

During registration, we collect your full name, email address, phone number, and identity verification details required to activate your account. This information is used to verify your identity and ensure account security.

Device & Browser Information

We automatically record IP addresses, device types, operating systems, browser types, and other technical data when you access the erc20 platform. This information helps us detect suspicious activity, optimise platform performance, and provide more accurate technical support.

Payment Information

For deposits and withdrawals in Malaysian Ringgit (RM), we retain transaction records including the payment method used (FPX or Touch 'n Go eWallet), transaction amount, and timestamp. Sensitive details such as full bank account numbers are not stored directly by erc20 — these are handled by authorised payment providers using industry-standard encryption.

Cookies & Usage Data

Our platform uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to maintain login sessions, save user preferences, and analyse platform usage patterns. Usage data such as pages visited, session duration, and in-platform actions are also collected for service improvement purposes.

Cookies & Tracking

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit the erc20 platform. We use three main categories of cookies: session cookies required for basic login and navigation functions, preference cookies that save your language and display settings, and analytics cookies that help us understand how users interact with the platform.

You can manage or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time. Keep in mind that disabling certain cookies may affect platform functionality, such as staying logged in or saving your preferences. erc20's use of cookies does not include third-party advertising content or biometric data processing.

4

Data Storage & Security

Erc20 stores user data on servers protected with SSL/TLS encryption. Access to personal user data is restricted to staff who require it to perform their duties, and all access is logged for security audit purposes.

Your personal data is retained for as long as your account is active or as long as necessary to fulfil our legal obligations. Following account closure, data will be retained for the period prescribed by Malaysian law before being securely deleted. While we take reasonable security measures, no system is entirely free from risk. In the event of a data breach involving your information, erc20 will notify you in accordance with applicable legal requirements.

Third-Party Sharing

Erc20 does not share users' personal information with third parties except in the following circumstances: with payment service providers to process MYR transactions, with technology service providers that support platform operations under strict confidentiality agreements, or when required by law or court order. All third parties that receive erc20 user data are required to uphold data protection standards equal to or higher than those set out in this policy.
